Filming has begun in Moscow on the family comedy «Love According to Freud», starring Roman Kurtsyn, Vladimir Sychev, Irina Temicheva, and Irina Rozanova.
The story follows successful divorce lawyer Yegor Sokolov (Roman Kurtsyn), who shines both in court and in his romantic escapades — until one of his affairs lands him in serious trouble. Fleeing from the furious husbands of his clients, Yegor pretends to be a family psychologist. Under this false identity, he finds himself living in the house of a tough businessman Fyodor Kormiltsev (Vladimir Sychev) and his wife Angela (Irina Temicheva), where he must pose as a specialist helping to restore their relationship. But his cover is threatened by Rosa Nilovna (Irina Rozanova), Fyodor’s sharp-witted and suspicious mother, who is determined to expose him — even if it destroys the family.
«My character Yegor is a man who’s used to getting out of any situation. But this time he faces a real challenge that will turn his life upside down. I’ve never played anyone quite like him before, and I’m genuinely excited to explore his personality. I’m glad to be part of this project, filled with humor, warmth, and sincerity. I’m sure audiences will recognize themselves in our characters and have a great time watching the film,» says Roman Kurtsyn.
Anfisa Chekhova appears in the film as a loyal friend always ready to read the cards and offer advice, while Yuri Kuznetsov plays Yegor’s grandfather — a guardian angel who comes to his aid at the right moment. The cast also includes Anastasia Chernikova, Roman Popov, Anna Ukolova, Igor Zhizhikin, and others.
