On January 15, the high-tension action thriller «Recruited», produced by Goldfield Entertainment, will hit theaters across Russia. Blending the dynamics of an espionage thriller with a human drama about loyalty and deception, the film is distributed in Russia by Center Kino.

Andrey Romanov (Alexander Metelkin) finds himself caught in the crossfire between Russian and Western intelligence services. Together with a team of elite operatives, he is recruited by GRU officer Maxim Kolosov (Ivan Okhlobystin) for a top-secret mission behind enemy lines. Their goal — to uncover what’s happening inside a classified laboratory near the border, where work on a new biological weapon is underway.

For Andrey, the mission also carries a personal motive — revenge. The head of the enemy unit is responsible for his father’s death. When the operation goes off track and it becomes clear that there’s a mole within the team, suspicion falls on Andrey himself. Kolosov faces an impossible choice: to follow intelligence orders and eliminate the agent, or to trust his instincts and the memory of Andrey’s father, giving the young man one last chance to complete the mission. The fate of millions depends on this decision.
